Great blog and oh how I can relate somewhat.. I too have had a stall and now, nursing a broken toe is making matters worse… I also agree with all the mfp updates and have looked for other apps etc to log it but haven’t found one with a decent size data base, although if I do lots of recipes, the data base is not too, too important as long as I can scan items. Anyway I too am going to reset my weight back to zero and start losing all that I have left to lose, which in my case is still around 40 + pounds.. As you know I’ve also tried running many, many times and just couldn’t get to loving it, as much as I wanted to. I’m thinking, especially after reading your blog that it might get easier as I lose more and more weight and keep pushing myself. I don’t know but I’ll see. Anyway take care and keep up the good work. I’ve never know anyone who runs as much as you do :-).. Oh and when you get a minute, maybe you can send me a message with info about where you are now logging your food.

Great post, you are so honest with yourself. I too want to lose a little more weight because I think (hope) it will help with my running. I’m stuck in a rut right now, but you are a great inspiration to me! Thanks!

Between waiting for my leg to heal, hospitalization and the home remodel I gained 15 pounds. Did I see it creeping back on? Absolutely! Our lives are not always our own and we have to prioritize our needs over wants. You want to loose weight & run more but you need to heal. You need to be healthy. Finding that healthy running weight is important. Your family, friends, and future goals are important too. Search for balance in all things and you will truly be wise.
