Hi, I'm D and I live with my wife Rosie, two dogs and three cats in The Orkney Islands, Scotland UK. I am a full time carer to my wife and I love to run, I am also interested in photography and art amongst other things.

    Nice !! I often hear people complain about how they would go to the gym or workout more often , if only they had a buddy to come along. Those people totally miss the point that it needs to come from within ones self. They could have 20friends at the gym but unless they truly want to go , it really won’t matter .

    Very well said once again ! I’ve always considered myself to be a “loner” for lack of a more beautiful word :-).. I’ve always enjoyed working alone and seeing the accomplishments that resulted from “my” hard work. So naturally when I started working out again a little over a year ago, I was going to do it Alone… I’m so far still not a runner, but I Have Not totally given up on it ! I do get out there and give it a go now and then and Yes, I’m alone when I do ! But as far as motivation, I agree that it comes from within and lately it’s a little hard to find … I must dig deeper, find it and move forward ! Keep up the good work man !
